Rho-associated kinases (ROCK) 1 and 2 are involved in the regulation of cytoskeletal dynamics and contraction, as well as leukocyte migration and loosening of endothelial and epithelial tight junctions. ROCK inhibition is an attractive and promising target and has been clinically evaluated in patients with GvHD.
