Professor Mohamad Mohty

Mohamad Mohty is Professor of Hematology and head of the Hematology and Cellular Therapy Department at the Saint-Antoine Hospital at University Pierre & Marie Curie, Paris, France.

Much of Professor Mohty’s clinical research leans towards stem cell transplantation, immunotherapy and the provision of novel therapies in myeloma and leukemia.

Professor Mohty obtained his medical degree from the University of Montpellier, and his PhD from the University of Marseille, both in France. Following this he undertook post-doctoral work at the Hematology Department at Imperial College, Hammersmith Hospital, London, UK.

Professor Mohty has published widely in the field of stem cell transplantation, leukemia and myeloma, in different hematology and immunology journals. He also serves as editor in chief of Bone Marrow Transplantation, and an Associate Editor for LeukemiaEuropean Journal of Haematology and Blood Cancer Journal, as a member of the editorial board of Haematologica, and as a regular reviewer in different immunology, hematology, and cancer journals. Professor Mohty joined the Steering Committee of the GvHD Hub in March 2018.
